This line with icons isn't it the graphic menu  :-\

First lets make a list with what we need in this menu.
Suggestion:
 - stop icon;
 - play/pause icon;
 - next icon;
 - prev icon;
 - browse icon;
 - vol/bass/treble icon;

Total of 6 icons (12 icons like in icon menu form the start up)

In theory sounds ok, but it is almost impossible to handle the button in this way.

We have the next & prev function in play menu, and I think that
this 2 functions are not so very very very often used (like volume control).

In Play Mode, maybe we could have some icon buttons for:
 - pause / play
 - next & prev. song
 - stop
 - browse file

The same functionality as IconMenu from yPodd start up.

What if we remove the cover from Player View, to have some space on display,
in order to show small icon buttons (player buttons)?

Cover graphics can be used like Ulrich sad, they are small (size of memory)  and stored on tFlash,
so is no problem to have bigger cover pictures.

A thought:
If the user does not have a cover picture in mp3 folder,
we must display a generic picture stored somewhere else on tFlash,
but in this case we have to display somehow the name of the album.

I thought that will be better to ignore a short press,
in order to avoid an accidental press of the button.

(if the player is in the pocket, or in some similar cases)

A suggestion (when yPod is in Play Mode):

long press -> turn on the backlight
and
up / down -> control the volume

In this way we can modify the volume with minimal power consumption (backlight  stay off)

What do you think about this?
