Yes he is ready KECANI ALL :D
KECANI ALL is a Kenwood cd changer interface, so you can connect you MP3 player to the Kenwood carradio and control it like a cd changer.

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to connect a SD/MMC card to the YAMPP 3 instead of a hard drive?
or does somebody nows a SD/MMC card to IDE adapter?

I need the YAMPP 3 for my Kecani project, because the YAMPP 3 has an RS232 port where the text of the songs come's out and YAMPP 7 has this not :(

If somebody could help me, thanx already

I wont to know of the repaet function can be adjusted, it had know 4 functions.
Is it possible that only the repeat for the song can be set and the rest of the functions not aviable are

On my site you must NOT use Kecani B software, this one is BUGGED and realy big bug.

There will soon be a new software for Kecani B,with the newest Yampp code, fixed for Kecani B.

Hardware / Yampp 3/USB problem!

Hello,

I have a problem with Yampp3 usb version 1.30. When the Yampp is playing a song and i shut it down or when Yampp is in pause modus and i shut it down, so cut off the power.

I use the RS232 to control the Yampp, before i shutdown the Yampp if first give the Yamp 2 time's a 'G' so i know for sure that the Yampp has stopped, then i wait ca 1sec before i turn down the power.

When i power up de Yampp again i give the Yampp a 'g' but then the Yampp goes sometime's :( wrong, it's play's the songs very fast and the happens a lot. I must then reset the Yampp every time.

What is the problem here?

Can somebody help me please

I had question:

In Yampp RS232 it is so when the Yampp is playing and you hit the stop button and then play again the Yampp will put information on Terminal. Now i only wont these information when a push the track or the playlist buttons

So when a push stop button and then play again i don't won any information on my Terminal only when i push the track and playlist button.

Is this possieble? ???

Software / Yampp storing Time SONG ?!

Hello,

I like this feature very much ;D ,but i have problem. I use it whit my project KECANI. When i turn of the radio i also turn of the Yampp for power saving. So my battery in the car doesn't go empty ;)

Now i have notice that when you do pause and then turn the Yampp off the time is not correct stored. When it is from 0 to 9 seconds the stored time will be 0 seconds when it is from 10 to 19 seconds the stored time is 9 seconds etc...

before i turn off the Yampp i set the Yampp first on pause then wait 2 seconds and the turn of the power.

Is what i tell here of the stored time correct or do i something wrong? I use version 1.30

The Kecani website ->http://home.wanadoo.nl/patrick.loef  has now a forum  :D. You can ask anything about Kecani and the support of Kecani of the Yampp.

Yes Kecani is specialy designed in use of the Yampp 8)
To use Yampp with Kecani you must also update the Yampp with version that come's with Kecani software.
The version i have use of the Yampp is 1.0 of the Yampp 3 USB version, i will soon use the more newer version of the Yampp, but this will be done when version 1.00 of Kecani is relaesed!!

The specs are:
-CD text support 24 character, for title 24 and for artist 24(no cd text is not supported YET)
-Time display
-Track up/down
-Disc up/down -> for the Yampp is this playlist up/down

KECANI has now a NEW version online. TEST RELAESE VERSION 0,85. WIHT COMPACT FLASH CARD

This verion supports Kenwood radio protocol B with CD text. Also a schematic is avaible.
The version only supported for the Yampp. A new version is included for the Yampp. YOU MUST USE THAT VERSION of the Yampp!!!! This is a old version of the Yampp version 1.00. I have reprogrammed it a little bit so that it will work with Kecani.

I will soon use the new version of the Yampp

What can this version of Kecani do:

-Give cd-text 12 character->Playlist, title track, artist track.(The charcter will be bigger in new versions but not for now!)
-Time on display
-Disc up and down are on the Yampp playlist up and down
-Track up and down

Know bugs:

-Sometime's init will not go right
-Sometime's Kecani hangs while playing(why i don't know at this moment)
-When pushed very lite on the buttons Kecani will not responed
-Wil not work fine with a hard disk!! I use now a compact flash card

What will er come:

-When radio is off, the Yampp will shutdown and get no more power. This is for the car so that when the radio is off Kecani nd   Yampp will use so less of current
-Solve the bugs

Kecani,

supports know also cd-text, i have know made a version for the protocol B with cd-text.
In this version you wil see the text d-title->Kecani V:b0.1 beta and as t-title->Kecani with CD TEXT.
This version is very very unstable so i must look if i put it on my site.

But my idea's are to made Kecani as follow:
-You have an version for protocol C nothing here for cd-text is for old radio's '99>
-You have an version for protocol B with CD-TEXT radio '99<
-Both with play/stop, disc up and down, track up and down and random button's so you connect to any MP3 player

If you have any more idea's so let me know please

It is know possible to use the button track up and down on the radio, also know the time is displaying on the display of the radio.
The schematic is updated!!! :D
