May I add that I'm very pleased with the stability of my yampp3/usb. Works perfectly!

I honestly thought there'd be more problems with a "kit" like this, usb, firmware changeability, 3rd party HD and display. Very few.

Sure, there was a few minor snags before I got it up and running, and I think I got a few tunes I can't play,
but it's really nothing that bothers me.

I'm looking forward with exitement to the release of yampp9.

Ok, I said I would post some pictures of my YAMPP, here they are.
 
Wood-Housing is Oak (with Wood-buttons in "venge").

40Gb HDD.
40*2 char display (quite bad viewingcontrast tho)
The Display is covered with a real glass-piece with (homemade) chamfered edges by 45 degrees.
Back (from left to right): Powerswitch, powerconnector, audio out.
The Red button is a utility-button that is now used for backlighting, but probably
will change in the future.

If I had known my Yampp was going to be used i quite heavy party-environment,
I'll probably wouldn't have made it this "classic"-finish. :-)
