New PCB's

As there have been some requests, I've made a couple of PCB's to make development easier.
If there is any interest, I'll start selling these at a reasonable price.

These items are NOT YET available, but if you're interested in buying one or more of them, please let me know.
Send me a mail and tell me what you're interested in by clicking here.
Note that you're NOT placing an order by sending the mail, it's just so I can see the level of interest.
Also note that the prices given are VERY preliminary and subject to change, as they are dependent on the number of boards made.
They will be updated later.

Here's what I've done so far :

SO28 Adapter board

This board makes working with surface mount chips a bit easier. It's mainly intended for 28 pin chips like the PDIDUSB12 and the VS1001, but it can also be used for "normal" TTL chips. You can easily put two 14 pin chips on the board.
The pinout is standard 0.1" modular format and fits into a 28 pin socket or directly in a breadboard.

Price: $4 each, $10 for three, including shipping.

VS1001 Piggyback development board

This is a nice little thingy, intended for experimenting with the MP3 decoder chip VS1001G from VLSI.
It can also be used as a decoder plugin or subunit for your own homebuilt MP3 player.
It's a small development board (35*42 mm) with a VS1001 and it's closest parts. Apart from the VS1001, it contains a crystal, a LP2980 3V voltage regulator and a 74LCV245 level converter so the board can be interfaced to 5V logic.

It has a 12 pin connector for control signals and headphone outputs.

It comes with a test program in C-code, intended to run on a STK200 development board with an Atmel At90s8515, but can be adapted for other CPU's.

Empty PCB : $8 each, $20 for three, including shipping.
Kit (all components + PCB) : $55 + shipping.
Fully populated and tested PCB : $80 each + shipping.

yampp-3 PCB

This is the prototype bord for yampp-3. It's the same size as a 2 1/2" harddisk, with mounting holes as standard disks. Is has room for a 8515, a VS1001, a 74HC573 latch and a 32k SRAM, a 74LCV245 level converter, a 74HC08 as well as a MAX232.
